Opportunity objectives are welcomed with a thanks!

Gratefulness is a word which comprises admiration towards anything appreciated in life. I’m grateful for the loving family and opportunities in life understanding many events will not always be in our favor. You define your objective to create memorable events. Any misfortunate activity is discouraging, until I envision my goal. Responses to life’s hardships define your objective.

Which journey in particular?

Define your educational study

My educational path became a high priority along with athletic success at a young age. Achieving a successful future meant grand educational aim. When eighteen, my educational goal was to graduate college with a bachelor’s degree. My college objective paused when I suffered a near-fatal accident causing a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

Rethink your objective?

Unexpectedly, I didn’t return to college for my fourth semester. Instead, college was forgotten as I lay in a hospital with family hoping I opened my eyes. Miraculously, I began talking and learned basic daily activities again. Despite cognitive aspects modified from my TBI, my objective was to graduate college.

Living with family, I watched my twin sister prepare for the next school semester and instantly thought I also need to enroll. I wished to maintain my honors scholarship which required a completion of at least two classes each semester. One class was already a substantial undertaking, but now the education problem intensified

Consider your goal

Every course has their own assignments to pass, but a TBI only adds to the class’s difficulty. The typical class applies reading, writing, homework assignments and tests to your overall grade.

Select your Focus

Doubling each task for another course forced me to recognize my processing speed may not be quick enough to finish tests within a class period. Outside of completion time, I could also concentrate on misunderstanding the lecture, pop quizzes and other TBI difficulties effecting my study. I defined my objective, and found other factors limiting my progress. Prioritize a single area to improve instead of challenging multiple.
